As a former animal trainer for the San Diego Zoo, Marilisa knows first hand the importance of quality training. As a pet owner she also encountered various people that considered themselves dog trainers from watching a TV show or looking online, but they did not have a formal education, due to that fact their advice was often wrong and harmful.That's why she felt drawn to start  Doggywood. If your dog is misbehaving or is a new learner,

 she can teach them to respond correctly through reward-based training. Having to constantly rein in your pup’s leash can be frustrating and uncomfortable, and we want to make sure that you get the most out of your time together.
